The box cost about a buck. It was really easy to “carve.” He kept trying to put the pieces back in.
It’s gonna be okay, part 4: Hermione Granger, Time Traveller.
This one will need a cheat sheet; it’s a lot to put on two lunch bags. In the third book/movie, Hermione and her droogs jump back and forth through time to save an animal named Buckbeak. Hooray for Buckbeak.
It seems to me that Hermione would have done something more constructive with time travel. She could have prevented Voldemort’s villainy in any number of ways. She could have saved Harry’s parents with a simple phone/owl message.
Or she could have gotten them out of the house and filled the area with dragons. The time traveller has limitless resources, as we’ve learned from the noted essay on time travel, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, where buckets fell on people from nowhere.
